<p>Unfortunately for some it turns out Ev&#8217;s teasing tweet was nothing more than <a title="Ev's teasing tweet revealed" href="http://twitter.com/ev/status/1537352461" target="_blank">revealing</a> that <a title="Ashton Kutcher on Twitter" href="http://twitter.com/aplusk" target="_blank">Ashton Kutcher</a>, the first Twitter user to break 1 million followers, would today be on US talk show Oprah. Ev will also be on the show, and on the show Oprah will apparently be sending <a title="Oprah on Twitter" href="http://twitter.com/Oprah" target="_blank">her first tweet</a>.</p>
<div id="attachment_61" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 478px"><img class="size-full wp-image-61" title="ashton_1mil" src="http://www.twitterbulletin.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/ashton_1mil.jpg" alt="Proof from Twitter HQ" width="468" height="362" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Proof from Twitter HQ</p></div>
<p>Ashton&#8217;s battle to 1 Million followers was faught with other high flying Twitter account <a title="CNN Breaking News on Twitter" href="http://twitter.com/cnnbrk" target="_blank">CNNbrk</a> (now finally actually <a title="CNN aqquire CNNbrk" href="http://thenextweb.com/2009/04/15/confirmed-account-twitter-cnnbrk-acquired-cnn/" target="_blank">owned by CNN</a>).</p>
