25 May 2009Filetwt is an all new service which attempts to use the power of Twitter for peer-to-peer file sharing. The site currently allows users to share a large variety of files, from documents, presentations, to music and so on. The only limitation in place is that the files must be 20MB or under.
The idea to share files via Twitter is a neat one, being able to share to a large number of people is a nice compliment to sending via email. ReadWriteWeb have an article on the new service looking at what the P2P could do to improve, such as possibly adding mobile support, along with supporting more file sharing sites (Filetwt currently only supports RapidShare). If you want a second opinion on Filetwt before checking it out, be sure to give their article a read. If you have already tried the site, be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts!

nice post… I still have my concerns about privacy with this services.
you could use ravishare.com (more established, not twitter-only), which allows to share freely and anonymously files of up to 300MB and tweet the link without entering your Twitter password.
there is also a picture and MP3 preview feature, so I think it matches your topic
